Life Goes On...
It is 29 degrees outside but the weather application says it feels like 16 degrees. By what standard is the feels like measured I wonder. It feels like 16 below zero to me. Heaters cranked and I still feel like I could chip ice off my finger tips. I have wrapped Lucy Liu, our dove, in a cloth and she is sitting on my lap watching me type. I am trying to begin my routine of writing each morning. Yesterday I cleaned up the recording studio and got Mike Daily's computer working. Good old XP still works and recognizing MOTU hardware and software so I was able to make a CD. I will get around to rewiring the hardware for recording after this weekend visit with Scott and Deb MacGougan. I am hoping for clear and warmer weather. Kayden is praying for snow. It must be interesting for the Most High when, for example, one is praying for someone to live and one is praying for someone to die. Is there a Cosmic Coin to toss on those occasions and for those decisions? I wonder. In my case the praying to live seemed to have worked for the time being at least.
So here we are in 2014 already. The Seahawks won the Super Bowl. We have tons to technology to keep us occupied and provided us with Sounds of Silence Paul Simon aptly predicted. Sleep seems to become ever and ever evasive. Gravity and time seem to strongly challenge the concept that we could live forever if we wanted. I speculate on the myriad choices to approach better health.  Meanwhile I think I will have another cup of coffee.

Sending out the love

Greg Murat is a part of the family of writers, bloggers, musicians, guitarists, poets, artists, husbands, friends, papa's,, singer songwriters, leaders, business consultants, worker bees: all  those who wear many hats. I love to write music, prose, technical guides, verse, lyrics and poetry. This journal or blog is a release in free form and I am happy to let it all out and thankful to have the chance. I have to be reminded from time to time that people do read it so I need to filter some of what I say or change names to protect the guilty or innocent party.
